The brief was to create a modern, welcoming environment that promotes collaboration, wellbeing, and productivity. The design focused on blending functionality with comfort, incorporating biophilic elements and ergonomic solutions throughout. The result is a vibrant, future-ready workspace that supports both focused work and team interaction, all set against the stunning backdrop of the River Tyne.

The design concept centred around an earthy, warm palette to create a calming atmosphere that compliments the stunning views of the River Tyne. This approach not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal but also supported the client’s focus on wellbeing and employee comfort.

The workspace features a luxurious 20-person boardroom with full-height glazed windows offering panoramic views across the river. Internally, full-height glazing with a custom North East mural provides privacy while celebrating local identity. A series of private meeting rooms were designed with varied furniture styles, allowing users to select a space that best suits the nature of their meeting—adding both functionality and personality to the environment.

Throughout the open-plan area, preserved foliage and warm tones bring a sense of nature indoors. The breakout zone is a standout feature, with an acoustic slat wall, soft seating upholstered in Camira and Agua fabrics, and a striking high table with suspended greenery as its centrepiece. This space encourages informal collaboration and relaxation, all while enjoying views of the Tyne.

Our design team collaborated closely with Crane Authentication and their project team to develop a layout and finish scheme that truly reflected their delivering a workspace that is both inspiring and practical.
