Our workspace furniture installer Derek Corbett was recently presented with a special commemorative medal to mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The Jubilee medal was presented as a token of the nation’s thanks to those who serve on the frontline.
Derek, who has served in the Army Cadets for over 37 years was given the medal by his Commandant.
Acting as a token of the nation’s thanks, the Platinum Jubilee Medal follows a long history of awarding medals to mark Royal Jubilees, with the first one awarded to mark the 50th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s reign in 1887.
